ROBIN BLACK
Robin Black started Inspirio Design to combine her favorite things: words and images, and books and design.
She’s a graduate, with a bachelor of fine arts degree, from Parsons School of Design in New York City, with some forty years of experience working for corporations, non-profits, independent design firms, and individual clients.
Specializing in book and magazine design, her work includes book covers and interiors, promotional and media materials, feature and cover stories and templates for a wide array of employers and clients: Thomas Nelson/HarperCollins, Zondervan/HarperCollins, WaterBrook Multnomah/Random House, Guideposts, Baker Publishing Group, Rodale, Standard Publishing, Discovery House, Kregel Publishing, EABooks Publishing, Deep River Books, Cook Communications, and Good Family Magazines (including Virtue, Christian Parenting Today, and Parents of Teenagers magazines).
Her award-winning work also appears in national advertising, mixed media collage art, women’s jewelry, and corporate collateral.
For Robin, design is a lifestyle and a love, not just a job. So when she’s not at her Inspirio Design desk, she’s still creating and designing everything from copper and silver jewelry, to knitted works, greeting cards, mixed media collages, and a life that includes her other loves of reading and sharing beautiful North Carolina with her husband Keven, studio buddy Bentley, family, and friends.
